DESCRIPTION

EMULTRA 6600 is an extremely efficient emulsifier based on Imidazoline chemistry, suited for invert emulsion non-aqueous drilling fluid.

FEATURES AND APPLICATIONS

EMULTRA 6600 is a highly stable emulsifier for invert emulsions.

EMULTRA 6600 can be used in all type of brines and oils.

EMULTRA 6600 is designed to promote high level of emulsion stability, giving water free HTHP filtrates.

EMULTRA 6600 if effective over a wide temperature range, oil/water ratios and mud weights.

EMULTRA 6600 provides stable invert emulsion in the presence of contaminants such cement, water, drill solids.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

EMULTRA 6600 treatments can range from 4 to 16 lb/bbl (11.4-45.6 kg/m3) depending on the type of oil, properties desired as well as other components of the drilling fluids. High temperatures and severe contaminations may require higher dosages.

EMULTRA 6600 should be used in conjunction with Primary emulsifier and/or a wetting agent.

EMULTRA 6600 has to be handled as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment.

PACKAGING

EMULTRA 6600 is packed in 55-gal drums. Customized packaging is also available. Store in location away from sources of heat or ignition. Keep containers closed and tightly sealed.
