ONYX BIOGUARD 2800

DESCRIPTION

BIOGUARD 2800 is a high-concentration aqueous solution of quaternary phosphonium-based biocide.

APPLICATION

BIOGUARD 2800 is designed to control and kill aerobic and anaerobic sulphate reducing bacteria usually encountered in oilfield systems. It is effective against both sessile and planktonic species.
BIOGUARD 2800 can be used on a continuous basis at low dosage rates but is preferably used in a batch mode at 100 – 300 ppm for  1 to 6 hours once or twice a week. BIOGUARD 2800 can be deployed in waterflood systems and oil production processes. Actual  dosage and treatment practice will depend on infection and degree of cleanliness required.
